In the context of our one-day residency within the 12day period when the theater EMBROS was reactivated we chose to record, to classify and to present to the public all the small items and the sets we found on the first floor of the building and which had been used in old theatrical performances as props. The theater had remained closed for more than 5 years since it had been given to the Ministry of Culture after the death of Tassos Bandis who operated and ran the theater on his own during the last years of its operation.
Στα πλαίσια του residency μας εντός του 12ήμερου ενεργοποίησης του θεάτρου ΕΜΠΡΟΣ επιλέξαμε να καταγράψουμε, να ταξινομήσουμε και να παρουσιάσουμε στο κοινό όλα τα μικροαντικείμενα και σκηνικά που βρήκαμε στον 1ο όροφο του κτιρίου και που είχαν χρησιμοποιηθεί σε παλιές θεατρικές παραστάσεις. Το θέατρο είχε παραμείνει κλειστό για περισσότερα από 5 χρόνια, καθώς εκχωρήθηκε στο Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού μετά το θάνατο του Tάσου Μπαντή, ο οποίος το διαχειριζόταν μόνος του κατά τα τελευταία χρόνια της λειτουργίας του.
